Recognizing education as a voluntary social responsibility service, “Youth Culture and Service Foundation” and “Yapı Merkezi” came together to establish Nitelikli Eğitim Kurumları AŞ. in 1994 to open and operate educational institutions.
It was decided to establish Irmak Schools, the first educational institution of Nitelikli Eğitim Kurumları, on the Caddebostan campus owned by the foundation, and it was planned to gradually expand the school to provide a complete education from the age of 4 to 18. Irmak Schools was opened in 1995 as a kindergarten and 8-year primary school. With the addition of a higher grade every year, the first students of primary school graduated in 2001.
Irmak High School (Preparatory + 4 years) was opened in 2001 and successfully placed its first graduates to university in 2005. Today, Irmak Schools offer 3 years of Kindergarten + 4 years of Primary and Secondary School and Preparatory + 4 years of High School education respectively.
At Irmak Schools, it is considered that every child has unique talents and the different aspects of students are emphasized. The differentiated education model is the basis of making a difference at Irmak.
