{"id":16367,"date":"2026-05-12T14:55:54","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T11:55:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irmak.k12.tr\/primary\/?p=16367"},"modified":"2026-05-12T14:58:29","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T11:58:29","slug":"a-science-journey-at-santral-istanbul","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irmak.k12.tr\/primary\/a-science-journey-at-santral-istanbul\/","title":{"rendered":"A Science Journey at Santral Istanbul"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>As part of the PYP unit \u201cHow the World Works,\u201d Grade 3 students from Irmak Okullar\u0131 visited the SantralIstanbul Energy Museum to explore the central idea: \u201cElectricity is one of the forms of energy used in daily life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Supporting experiential and inquiry-based learning, the trip included participation in the museum\u2019s Primary School Energy Workshop as well as a guided tour of the historic Silahtara\u011fa Power Plant, the first power plant in T\u00fcrkiye, which now serves as a museum.
