[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]As second graders, we held an interview with architect parents Serkan Dilaver and Buket Dilaver as part of our PYP unit under the theme “Where We Are in Place and Time,” focusing on the topic of homes. Architect Serkan Dilaver talked about the materials used in the construction of homes from different time periods, the aesthetic and functional features of architectural works from those times, and the types of buildings that might be constructed in the future. Our students explored architectural structures from various eras and asked questions about what sparked their curiosity.<\/p>\n
