[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Our Grade 2 students met with Yasemin \u00d6z\u00fcg\u00fcm\u00fc\u015f, the author of the book \u0130lk U\u00e7u\u015f, as part of their studies on “where we are in place and time.” During the workshop, students learned the steps of designing and thought about STEM based on their dreams. They then created a design to solve the hero’s problem from the book. Our students had the opportunity to think about design, STEM, and engineering, and they left the workshop excited to bring their designs to life.<\/p>\n
