Furthermore, it heralds the spring.<\/p>\n<p>We, as Irmak Middle and High School Social Sciences Department, enthusiastically celebrated the nature\u2019s awakening, the coming of spring and equinox in the name of <strong>\u201cEQUINOX DAY\u201d.<\/strong> On that special day, in our garden our students who are dressed in black and white performed a choreography symbolizing equinox. Afterwards, our high school students pointed out the importance and the meaning of this day by presenting a presentation namely <strong>\u201cHappy Birthday Nature\u201d<\/strong> to their sisters and brothers in the 5<sup>th<\/sup> and 6<sup>th<\/sup>, 7<sup>th<\/sup> grades. After the presentations, while 5<sup>th<\/sup> graders were planting seasonal flower seeds in our school garden, 6<sup>th<\/sup> graders reflected the colors of spring on their colorful masks.<\/p>\n<p>The day was completed by students hanging their wish cards on the wish-fulfilling tree.<\/p>\n<p>We wish spring will bring everyone beauty and happiness.[\/vc_column_text][vc_gallery interval=&#8221;3&#8243; images=&#8221;11618,11619,11620,11621,11622,11623,11624,11625,11626,11627&#8243; img_size=&#8221;1080&#215;800&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]March 21st is a day when day and night are about the same length and a time when\u00a0the plane\u00a0of\u00a0Earth&#8217;s\u00a0equator\u00a0passes through the geometric center of the\u00a0Sun&#8217;s disk.
