[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=””]This week, we celebrated our students\u2019 learning journey through our Portfolio Festival, an important component of the PYP approach that encourages reflection, growth, and student ownership of learning.<\/p>\n

During this special event, each class prepared its own portfolio presentation and invited families and friends to explore their learning experiences throughout the year. Students proudly showcased their projects, inquiries, and unit outcomes developed during their PYP units, sharing the knowledge, skills, and understandings they gained along the way.<\/p>\n

The Portfolio Festival provided students with an opportunity to reflect on their achievements while demonstrating key 21st-century skills such as communication, self-management, research, and collaboration. As they presented their work, students strengthened their confidence and self-expression skills, while families gained valuable insight into their children’s academic and personal growth.<\/p>\n

Following the presentations, students enjoyed a variety of games and fun activities that celebrated their accomplishments and the strong sense of community built throughout the year. The event highlighted the importance of the learning process itself, emphasizing reflection, growth, and meaningful engagement.<\/p>\n

In line with the educational vision of Irmak Schools, which nurtures inquisitive, reflective, and lifelong learners, the Portfolio Festival empowers students to take ownership of their learning and recognize their personal development. It was a memorable celebration of effort, achievement, and growth, marking the culmination of a successful and enriching academic year.<\/p>\n
