{"id":15693,"date":"2025-05-30T14:21:53","date_gmt":"2025-05-30T11:21:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irmak.k12.tr\/high\/?p=15693"},"modified":"2026-08-04T11:07:06","modified_gmt":"2026-08-04T08:07:06","slug":"kemal-mete-akkas-ranked-first-in-turkey-in-the-kangaroo-science-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irmak.k12.tr\/high\/kemal-mete-akkas-ranked-first-in-turkey-in-the-kangaroo-science-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Kemal Mete Akka\u015f ranked first in Turkey in the Kangaroo Science Competition!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]The <strong>\u201cKangaroo Science Competition,\u201d<\/strong> held for the fourth time this year across Turkey with the participation of thousands of students, aims to enhance students\u2019 scientific thinking skills and increase their interest in science through creative and original science questions prepared by expert academics in the field.<\/p>\n<p>Our 10th-grade student, <strong>Kemal Mete Akka\u015f<\/strong>, achieved the highest score by ranking <strong>1st among 358 finalists<\/strong> in the finals of the \u201cKangaroo Science Competition\u201d held on May 3, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>We wholeheartedly congratulate our student, who will receive the <strong>First Prize<\/strong> at the award ceremony to be held at Bosphorus University on June 15, 2025.
