[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On 7 October 2024, in collaboration with the Geography, Mathematics and Physics departments of our high school, 11th grade students made a presentation to 9th graders. The presentation helped 11th graders to develop their leadership and presentation skills, while at the same time gave the opportunity to the 9th graders to focus on the basic principles of orienteering and show them the connections with many different academic courses. The presentation covered topics such as map reading, navigation techniques, distance calculation and students had an interactive learning experience supported by practical applications. This event, which was organised with an interdisciplinary approach, was also very valuable for our students to see how they can bring together the knowledge they have acquired in different courses.<\/p>\n
